Job description

Main Activities expected by the Job:

1. Procure goods, components, equipment and services necessary for the organization, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness
2. Utilize SAP software to manage procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders and supplier contracts
3. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and identify new ones
4. Negotiating contracts, terms and pricing to secure the best value for the company
5. Monitor market trends and industry developments to anticipate changes in supply and demand and mitigate procurement risks
6. Collaborate with internal departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to understand their procurement needs and requirements and develop a purchasing plan that supports the achievement of business objectives
7. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contract documentation, pricing agreements, and supplier information
8. Evaluate suppliers’ performance, quality, and reliability with a focus on continuous improvement
9. Monitor inventory levels, optimizing stock levels and lead times to minimize costs while ensuring business continuity
10. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and company policies, including environmental and ethical sourcing guidelines

Technical Skills expected by the Job:

1. Knowledge of supply chain management principles
2. Knowledge of the main administrative and accounting processes of the company
3. Understanding of the main tax regulations (direct and indirect taxes)

Mandatory Requirements of the Job:

1. High school diploma with a focus on economics and finance or accounting and/or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or related field
2. 2/3 years of experience in industrial procurement or related role.
