We are looking for a Production Manager to be placed at the production site in Pomezia (RM).
Main Activities expected by the Job:
- Plays a critical role in overseeing the entire production process;
- Is responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing operations are efficient, compliant with regulatory standards, and deliver high-quality pharmaceutical products on time;
- Develops and implements production strategies that align with the company’s goals, ensuring optimal resource utilization and production efficiency;
- Oversees and maintains compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and other relevant regulatory standards to ensure the production of safe and high-quality pharmaceutical products;
- Manages production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, to build a skilled and motivated team;
- Develops production schedules, coordinate with other departments, and ensure the availability of materials and resources to meet production targets;
- Continuously assesses and improves manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production throughput;
- Develops and manage the production budget, monitoring expenditures and implementing cost-saving measures where necessary;
- Implements robust quality control measures to monitor and ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process;
- Stays updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance production capabilities and stay competitive in the market;
- Promotes a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the production department, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations;
- Prepares regular production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintain accurate production records;
Technical Skills expected by the Job:
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP, and other relevant industry standards
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively
- Experience with implementing automation and digital technologies in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- excellent knowledge of all aseptic production processes and processes involving oral solids
- Excellent technical knowledge of the operation of production machinery
- Excellent knowledge of Data Integrity guidelines
- Good knowledge of serialization processes

Mandatory Requirements of the Job:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a track record of progressive leadership roles.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies (Plus)
