SharpBag®: in PVC or PVC free material, from 20 to 500 ml
intended to contain solutions for drug infusions.

The bag is supplied with two central small tubes ending with a snap-off cone and a vial connector. Clear labelling with vial attached.

SharpBag® is used as mixing and drug infusion device, therefore it is not only a container but a withdrawal and mixing system that assure:

1. A COMPLETE SAFETY FOR THE OPERATORS (NO NEEDLES SYSTEM)
2. A MAXIMUM OPERATIVE EFFICIENCY (GETTING SOME OPERATIVE STEP OFF – LESS TIME FOR MIXING AND TRANSFER)
3. THE MAXIMUM STERILITY OF THE PREPARATION (TOTALLY CLOSED SYSTEM)
4. THE TOTAL USE OF THE ACTIVE PHARMACEUTICAL INGREDIENTS IN THE VIAL

It is particularly indicated for the dissolution of beta-lactam antibiotics.

1. Open the over-pouch of SharpBag®the and make sure that the solution is clear and particles-free and then remove the cap of the spike.
2. Press and screw the vial into the SharpBag® connector.
3. Snap off the breakable conus
4. Reconstitution and transfer: Squeeze the bag up to complete the reconstitution and transfer the drug into the SharpBag® system
   
   
5. Hang the bag to the upright, connect the infusion set and proceed to drug administration

This SPECIAL SharpBag has been developed for dissolving Oncologic Products.

The special feature of this SharpBag,respect to the normal one, is the different valve that connect the vial, and the different withdrawn port.

In addition there is a Nitrogen Overpressure inside the bag to facilitate the solvent transfer to the vial.
