ENVIRONMENTAL

1) UNI-EN-ISO 14001 CERTIFICATION: The plants which are called ACS Dobfar N.6, ACS Dobfar N. 3, ACS Dobfar N.4 and ACSD N.2 received respectively in 2005 , 2008 2010 and 2011 the UNI-EN-ISO 14001 Certification, recognized at international level. As required for this certification, an Environmental Management System was established and implemented in these plants to enable our organization to develop and implemented a policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and other requirements to which our organization subscribes, and information about significant environmental aspects. The main company's goal of the next years will be getting the same certification for all the plants of the group.

2) IPPC: As from 2007 the “water” treatment, the “general environmental” and “air” control will be incorporated and managed in compliance with all the IPPC standards. ACS Dobfar has started all the necessary procedures to meet the requirements set out by the new standards, with particular reference to the emissions in the atmosphere.

3) ENERGY: ACS Dobfar pays constant and particular attention to electric power saving and to its consumption which is daily monitored. At ACS Dobfar the power consumptions are monitored every day, in order to obtain, by means of a vast checking, a reduction and limitation of wasting. This approach enabled us to reduce the total consumption from 41,632 TEP (Petroleum Equivalent Tonnage) to 31,238 TEP. SOURCE: FIRE STATEMENT – LAW 09/01/1991 – Nr. 10.
